We are childhood sweethearts who fell in love way back in the 9th grade. We have now been married for 40+ years and were blessed with 2 children who are now grown, married and have made us very proud! We have also have 3 awesome grandkids who spend a lot of time here helping us at Dakota Mi-Kis. It is their job to help socialize the puppies. They take their job very seriously and are just wonderful with the puppies!
Mi-Kis
We fell in love with the Mi-Ki breed some years ago while researching different dog breeds. We were looking for something to fill our house after our children had left home and the Mi-Ki seemed to be everything that we were looking for: beautiful, smart, calm, easily trained, happy and loving. When we got our first Mi-Ki we fell so madly in love that we decided to dedicate ourselves to raising these wonderful little animals.
So in 2011, with the help of a couple great and very knowledgeable mentors we began our Mi-Ki journey!
We are dedicated to raising quality, healthy and purebred Mi-Kis in our home. Our adult Mi-Kis have all been registered with the American Mi-Ki Registry Association (AMRA). Each and every one of our adult Mi-Kis has been health tested and also DNA-VIP verified. Every Mi-Ki adult and puppy receives appropriate and regular veterinary care, high quality food and plenty of love and attention - every single day!
