What is included with a Dakota Mi-Ki puppy
At Dakota Mi-Kis we breed for many different things, but health and personality are at the top of the list.
We start by using healthy adult Mi-Kis. All of our adult Mi-Kis have been health tested. This includes blood panels, OFA heart, OFA Patella and CERF Eyes. We then carefully evaluate the coefficients of inbreeding for each pairing. Any dog used in our breeding program will have passed all of these tests!
All of our adult Mi-Kis and their puppies are DNA-VIP verified through DNA World Pet Registry. All adult Mi-Kis and their puppies will be registered with the American Mi-Ki Registry Association (AMRA).
We spend a lot of time with our puppies, which is easy since I work from home. We have have a busy, noisy household, but because we have arranged our puppy room to include our home office, it is easy for someone to be with the puppies most of the time.
Our puppies are given lots of time and room to explore. We provide them with many interesting toys to play with, climb on, over and in. In the summer the puppies are allowed safe outdoor time to play in the sun. We also have grandchildren that come to our house after school and on holidays and weekends. The puppies LOVE playing with the kids!!
